The 2013 Python Challenge™ is hosted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). However the two free public events in south Florida and the month-long competition to harvest Burmese pythons would not be possible without the dedication and collaboration of many individuals and organizations supporting this effort to inform the public about Burmese pythons and their threat to the Florida Everglades.
